Life of a Rotarian
Rotarians are dynamic, enthusiastic men and women of all ages who are involved in business, professionals or community leaders. Together they all share a common interest in friendship and humanity.
Ask any Rotarian what they get out of Rotary, and each will have a different list. Some enjoy the socialialising, others appreciate the business and professional networking opportunities many love the chance to give something back to their fellow man and community. But one thing they all have in common and remains constant is, every Rotarian has fun.
There is a broad range of activities experienced during the life of a Rotarian, including fund raising, project organisation, liaising with the local and international communities, working with schools, as well as opportunities for hands-on work in developing countries.
Clubs usually meet weekly for breakfast, lunch or dinner in a friendly, social atmosphere and meetings often include a talk on a subject of general interest by an outside speaker.
